Adult White-eared Honeyeater at the nest with young. 2 young in the nest close-up in 2nd shot.
The cup shaped, woven nest was made in a small Leptospermum myrsinoides shrub approx. 45 cm above the ground.
Beautifully made little nest hanging in the outer branches of a small Bundy eucalypt about 6 ft off the ground. Made from mainly spider webs woven together. Most likely either a buff-rumped or a Yellow Thornbill as both have been observed in the area.
