Shrub or tree 3- 8 m high.
Phyllodes often pendulous, falcate to oblanceolate, much narrowed at base, usually 9–15 cm long and 10–35(–55) mm wide, midrib prominent.
Very showy bright yellow clusters of up to 80 globular flower heads.

Brief survey as part of an APS Keilor Plains field trip. Three new species for the Kimbolton collection - Senecio quadridentatus, Thysanotus patersonii, Pimelea linifolia. Geranium had white flowers in pairs & long patent hairs on stem.
