A blue Sun Orchid species found in Grassy Dry Woodland in Strathewen. The stem was approximately 30cm tall, and the flower 20mm across. The white spots on the flower seemed to be unusual, although they were potentially from weathering of the petals as I have not been able to find a species with white spots.
Leaves fleshy, distinctly ribbed on the outside. Apex of mid-lobe of column (yellow part) somewhat dorsally compressed with a V-notch. Lateral lobes of column with a terminal tuft of white hairs, extending horizontally and converging. More than 5 flowers per stem (I can count 7 or 8 including the buds).
