White-faced heron on the bank of Maribyrnong River, near Newell's Paddock Wetlands. A regular visitor to the area.
The bush in front of the bird is Rhagodia candolleana (Seaberry Saltbush). Common plants on the riverbank, probably planted or from seed of a plant planted by Melbourne Water.
Female Rose Robin ? Making loud tuneful call. Slightly bigger than grey fantail.It was identified by Chris Lindorff as female Golden Whistler. Someone spotted a male bird in Kensington on April 13 (Eremaea Birdlines-Victoria)
