Bruce Robertson Has this sight recovery been sent to the Victorian Wader Study Group?
-
-
Giorgio De Nola Not as far as I know Bruce. I am not aware of that group, I assume by your question that they may be interested.

Russell Best Were they all white-flowered or just this one? They are usually pink.
-
-
Kevin Sparrow They are all white and only occur at Port Fairy. They are under threat by introduced Sicilian Sea Lavender and recently have been damaged by the high tides but are still there and will come back. Some on Griffiths Island too.

Unknown Beach weed at Port Fairy
-
-
Unknown Scientific name is now Salvia africana-lutea
-
-
Unknown Seems to be the only place in Vic where this is recorded as an established weed. It is still called S. aurea in APC and VBA but there are refs to a name change on the web, including RGB Sydney. I can also find refs saying "Salvia aurea - previously known as Salvia africana-lutea" so I will wait for the Aus scientists to catch up!
