Growing in centre of Barracoota Track, not far from Caleana major. Location approximate.
Large for a lacewing. Weak flier. See comments.
From Ken Walker "Hi Russell -- I just checked our collection and we do not have a single specimen from Victoria -- all from NSW and QLD. That Mallacoota area is usually about 5 degrees warmer than the rest of Victoria due to the easterly weather patterns that flow down the east coast. There are a number of species that only enter Victoria in that area. Good record. Cheers Ken"

Not sure of ID. Fruit appears very wide compared to typical subsp. physocarpa. Location approximate.
I returned to this spot on Jan 23 2014 and obtained pic3 which is the ID feature (bracts in many rows, large at the top and getting progressively smaller to the bottom). Plants about 50cm tall growing in a short sandy section of the track.
Not sure of ID. Leaves look long for H. riparia but nothing else seems to fit? Location approximate.
