There are lots of these in the house I've just moved into in the centre of Kyneton. I haven't seen any frass around the place to suggest that their larvae are eating the house, but they just keep appearing! About 5mm in length. Excuse the poor mobile phone image.
Despite the enormous flush of annual grasses this year after all the rain, this poor single Dipodium lives to fight another year - this time sending up 1.5 flower spikes. I haven't found any other specimens in this forest/woodland patch yet. It's survival prospects here are tenuous at best.
