Eastern Grey Kangaroo is currently not a common occurrence in this area, with Western Grey Kangaroo and Red Kangaroo being prolific. Only a single individual observed drinking at the river's edge. Differentiate from co-existing Noon-flower by triangular cross-section of leaves, paler leaves that are often red-tinged, and flowers that do not ascend above leaves (in Noon-flower flowers sit above leaves).
Large, hairy caterpillar found feeding on Cattle Bush (Alectryon oleifolius subsp. canescens). Size similar to adult pointer finger, both in length and girth.
