Anybody have an idea of what this is? My first thought was Boxthorn but leaves are different. Shrub has been heavily browsed by livestock and is covered in lichen. Getting what looks like buds coming on it now.
Stunted "Scentbark" growing in Pyrete Range.
Bark rough to small branches, thick, furrowed longitudinally, dark grey; branchlets salmon-coloured.
Adult leaves lanceolate, to 15 cm long, 2.5 cm wide, reticulation dense, with numerous oil glands. Inflorescences axillary, unbranched; 7-flowered.
Fruit pedicellate, hemispherical to spherical, valves 3 or 4, slightly exserted.
