Unsure of the species, but they appear similar to other pictures of sawfly larvae, curious if anyone can identify the species for me?
Approximately 6cm long.
Seen at Blackwood, a writhing mass on the floor in the public toilets!
About 4 plants in this fenced biosite area between Middle Gully Road and the railway line south of Woodend. This is the third location for the Dwarf Geebung in the Macedon Ranges. Previously recorded in a gully at Barrm Birrm, Riddells Creek and along the rail line just south of the Macedon station. Not common in Macedon Ranges but may exist in other areas along the railway.
