This is Calomela maculicollis. A widespread species of acacia leaf beetle identified by being broad and having three dots on the pronotum.
There are sensory bristles on the corners of the pronotum and these can be folded away when not needed. They are very hard to see but are the determining feature for identifying the Calomela genus.
Trachymela are gnarled and highly textured beetles in brown colors. They are sometimes referred to as 'gumnut' leaf beetles on the presumption that they might mimic gumnuts. This beetle has sinuous ridges meandering over the elytra and with a small black dot near the forward half of the elytra.
