  1. David Francis  Hi Linley. This is tricky one. I can only suggest investigating whether it is the winged adult of one of the wooly aphids.

  3. David Francis  One of the "Bird of Paradise Flies". Related to the mealy bugs. Males have the long waxy filaments forming a tail. See
