A population of Mountain Grey-gum in the Wombat Forest where it seems to be common, mixed with E. obliqua and E. radiata ... Leaves are huge: they can grow to more than 30 cm long. (6 photos)

  1. David Francis  I revisited the area the following week and found that many of the trees had been felled by the Department for firewood collection - disappointing but at least I got some fresh leaves, buds and fruits to photograph (now replacing the photos of ground litter specimens).
