Chris Lindorff The individual contact calls are 'clipped' rather than drawn out, indicating Little Raven. The drawn out, fading, longer call is made by both Little and Australian Raven, with the Little Raven a lower pitch and not with a cackling, 'dying' end. The proximity to the coast and southern Vic distribution also make it very unlikely to be Australian Raven, not to say that one could never appear.
Thomas N. Thanks Chris.
David Francis I agree - sounds like Little Raven.
Thomas N. Thanks David.
