Description
On a Philotheca myoporoides plant.Showing the everted two-pronged red osmeterium which is normally hidden but is everted when the caterpillar is disturbed.The osmeterium emits a foul-smelling secretion.

Unknown This larva of the Orchard or Citrus Swallowtail was photographed on a Philotheca myoporoides plant. Philothecas are in the same family as Citrus plants (Family Rutaceae).
