This record extends its known distribution, being the westernmost record of the species in Victoria. Third pic shows yellow wing underside of the female. The two wing spots are also a feature of the female.
On wet, warmish autumn nights we get hundreds of rain moths - 17 on this window pane. Mostly O. dirempta/lyelli but occasional O. antipoda (or australis) and T. atripalpis. Tawny Frogmouths feast on them.
