Severely browsed by wallabies. One of only two plants of this species found in the near vicinity. The plant was caged to protect from Wallaby browsing. The other plant is also caged and approximately 30 metres away.
Very similar to Dicranolaius bellulus, but tip of abdomen not red. Abdomen primarily black with a red diamond patch on central underside. Found on Olearia pannosa subsp. cardiophylla (photographed ex-situ).
