Samll moth approx. 12mm
Very small moth approx. 10mm disturbed from a dead flower head.
This is a Plume Moth in the Pterophoroidea superfamily. I don't know these moths well and cannot offer a Genus nor species at this time.
Thanks for the clue Cathy. When I searched NS there is a Geranium Plume Moth and that is the plant it was on when disturbed.

Undescribed species - purplish spots on forewing, purple on hindwing.
As described in Moths of Victoria Part 2
Worn and bedraggled specimen.

This form is darker, more mottled. Note the large reddish circle on the forewing.
A favourite location.
Happy to have you add your species to the location list.
A number of this species came to the light-trap during the event. This is one of the yellowish forms.
