Rabbit ears Sun orchid buds waiting for some sun.
Flowering on a sunny afternoon at last. Small sun orchids approx.12-15cm high.
Small herb approx. 12-25cm with lobed leaves.
Some species of Goodenia.
Maybe G. pinnatifida?

Thought it was a Goodenia by the flower shape but wasn't sure. Looks like the one. Thanks
Busy little birds (approx. 12cm) with a melodic song.
Dusky Wood swallow pair observed feeding on flying insects and carrying nesting material.

As I was down photographing a plant, I heard a rustle behind and looked around to find this little fellow starring at me. Out and about with a bit of warm weather after a long wet winter!

Small scorpion found under a piece of wood. Fast moving. Note the stinger has 2 'prongs'.

Colourful caterpillar approx. 5cm found on the same bush as the following insects.

Long legged insects both found resting on same bush.

Very small low growing succulent type plants growing en-mass. Amazing colour.

Found growing in damp spots and along waters edge. Leaves somewhat serrated.
