Description

A patch of a dozen or more plants, each about 12 cm tall. First record for Macedon Ranges. It is small and easily overlooked.
All had a single flower except two plants which had two flowers per stem.

Gill Best, Andrew Brown, and Lauren Fraser starred this.

  1. David Francis  Common name is misleading as it occurs in the west of the state, not just the east.

  2. Chris Lindorff  Name assigned due to split with similar Caladenia iridescens that is now known to be restricted to western Victoria (principally Grampians). C. transitoria is more common in the east of the state but also scattered across the west.
