  1. Suzanne Jones  Check out Trogidae family. It looks a lot like Omorgus species pictures I have seen and the Trogidae family do stridulate.

    • Russell Best  Spot on, Suzanne. Many thanks. I think I have got it right to species level too. Defined by a flattish'shovel' at the front of the head and markings.
