4 individuals seen in Sedgy swamp area (dominated by Lepidosperma laterale with some Gahnia sieberiana). Unable to get a photo, very flighty. Went there specifically looking for this butterfly species since finding out George Lyell spotted this species in
These two pics are possibly not the same individual. Four adults flying around their host plant, Acacia melanoxylon (Blackwood). NB. this is the first population of this species found using Acacia melanoxylon as a host.
Ross Colliver and I saw it fly past while we were chatting by the roadside (we were talking about whether he'd seen this species on his garden - he hadn't!). I was photographing other butterflies and dragonflies at this location at that time.
